We Are All Set!

May 2, 2014

AwardsIT’S all systems ‘go’ at the Bet Butler Stadium for tomorrow night’s end of season party and awards night.

The Chivas Suite is getting tarted up and caterer Robert Sloan is slaving away in the stadium kitchen preparing the buffet for what promises to be a cracking way to say goodbye to season 2013/14.

The players will be in attendance – pretty rubbish night without them to be honest – ready to receive the honours Sons fans will bestow upon them.

And with a sell-out crowd, the evening should be fun.

We’ve now decided on the running order for the awards ceremony and all the evening’s presenters are preparing their speeches, plus the DJ is compliling the cheesiest set of tunes this side of Gorgonzola to help dance the night away.

So, put on your glad rags, lookout your Whigfield ‘Saturday Night’ dance shoes, be prepared to strut your funky stuff with some Night Fever moves and we’ll see you in the Chivas Suite from 8.30pm onwards!

Running Order and Presenters.

  1. Sonstrust Travel Section Player of the Season – presented by Ross Black
  2. Graham Brough Memorial Shield for Fan of the Year – presented by Gillie Brough
  3. Top Goalscorer Award – presented by Andrew Jones
