Play for the Sons Video Extra!

July 30, 2011

THE SONSTRUST’S film maestro Gary Black, of SonsTV fame, is now ready to take orders for the DVD of the whole Play for the Sons fans match at the Rock on 4th June 2011.

The DVD costs only £10 (plus £1 postage, though you can pick it up on a match day). If you’d like to reserve a copy, please leave a note here as soon as possible, or drop a note to Gary himself. This is an ideal souvenir for players, friends and family to re-live the  historic day.

Gasp! as ‘keeper Andy Black throws himself around like a rather well-fed gazelle… Be Amazed! as Ian McEwan puts one boot and one head where his mouth is and almost gets a hat-trick! … Wonder! at the silken skills of Man of the Match Bryan McMutrie! And much, much more…

You can also purchase exclusive full-size photos of the event from Balloch-based photographer Gavin Butler by clicking here. And if you want a copy of the programme, there are a few left, and they’re still available for £1.50 inc. postage.

Incidentally, the report of the game in Sons View on 9 July had a couple of glitches, for which we apologise. The corrected version can be viewed online here.

I think I might wait for the Christmas sale…

When I might get 10 for my tenner!

Would it not be a nice touch to give these dvd’s away to the squads as an unexpected bonus?
