Subscribe to Sons View!

June 30, 2011

SUPPORTERS can now subscribe to Sons View and reserve themselves a copy of the club’s matchday programme for every home league game this season.

The programme is an important source of revenue for Dumbarton FC and the Sons Supporters Trust – and has undergone some exciting changes for the new campaign.

It’s always been popular with the fans, and now the trust wants to offer the chance to reserve yourself a copy, beat the queues and save £2 on the individual cost of a matchday.

You can do this for an upfront payment of just £40 (trust members) or £50 (non-members), which covers the entire season. Your copy will be reserved for you before every home league fixture over the 2011/12 season and be yours to pick up at no extra cost before the game.

To take advantage of this great opportunity, please leave a comment on this story or e-mail

The closing date for applications is close of play on Saturday, July 30, after Dumbarton play Dundee at home in the Communities League Cup first round.

  • Programme subscriptions apply for league fixtures only, so they do not apply for the forthcoming cup ties against East Stirlingshire or Dundee, or any subsequent cup ties.
  • A dedicated table for subscriptions will be set up in the supporters’ bar for each home league fixture. Subscribed programmes MUST be collected from this table and not from matchday sellers.
  • Subscriptions MUST be paid for in advance. Copies will not be reserved on a matchday until payment has been received.
  • If you can’t make a game then it is possible for programmes to be posted out. Please get in touch if you have any queries of this nature.
  • Unless we hear from you in advance, subscribed copies which have not been claimed before kick-off on a matchday will go on general sale after the game.
  • Fans are encouraged to ALWAYS buy their own programme and not share somebody else’s issue. The programme is an important source of revenue which goes towards helping the club.
