Gordon Lennon Memorial Fund

June 26, 2009

AS revealed last week, Trust member Robert Ryan has been busy with respect to setting up a Memorial Fund for the dependents of Gordon Lennon.

We caught up with Robert today and he told us :  “I have assembled a committee to provide a memorial to Gordon and collect funds for his dependents.

“The memorial will take the form of a match before the end of the year and possibly a memorial dinner. There may also be another event to announce at a future stage.

“The beneficiaries of any funds raised will be Gordon’s partner Kelly and their wee boy Kai. There will also be collections on behalf of the fund at the upcoming Dumbarton Home friendlies against Partick Thistle and St Mirren. ”

Anyone wishing to contribute should send a cheque/PO to:

Gordon Lennon Memorial Fund c/o Ryans Pet Centre 157 High Street Dumbarton G82 1NZ

Please cross your cheque/po and make it payable to “Gordon Lennon Memorial Fund.”

If you require a receipt then please either provide an email address where we can send it OR enclose a self addressed SAE with your donation.

Alternatively you can donate via giro credit.

Sort code number is 07-02-46 and the account number is 06177959. If you require a receipt from this method of payment then please email Eobert at robert@ryanspets.fsnet.co.uk quoting your date of payment, amount and payment reference and we will email one to you.

Robert continued : “Many thanks to the P&B lads who have got the fund off to a marvelous start.

“At the P&B fives they raised £300 and I understand that half is going to charity and half is on its way to the fund. Different class and many thanks to all who contributed.”
