THE news that Jim Chapman is planning to take his new look Sons squad down south on 12th July (to play Blyth Spartans) has prompted Trust members to ask if a Trust Travel bus will be organised.

The answer here will be yes, if there are enough people willing to put their names down.

So, can everyone who would be interested in going to the game, via the Trust Travel bus, PLEASE use the comment facility on this post, to register their name?

We will need to put a deadline on this process as the various bus companies have their busy period during the summer holiday months, therefore we ask that you register before 14th June to give us enough time to make the appropriate arrangements.

If I’m in Birmingham rather than Exeter by then, I’ll try and make the game… but it’s pretty grim to get to Blyth by public transport.

Tom, to clarify – if the game is on and we travel by bus, it’s likely that it will be a day trip. To hire a bus for an overnight at the height of the holiday season is just too expensive.
