Trust racenight raises £1500!
OVER 150 members and guests enjoyed the trust’s first social event of the season last Friday (6th). The fundraising racenight was a roaring success, thanks in the main to the superb organisation by Denise Currie and her team.
£1500 was the final amount raised – a superb effort in today’s economic climate.
A big thank you to all our sponsors and everyone who bought a jockey or a horse and of course those who ‘gambled’ on the outcome of the races.
We will of course be doing the same next year but pencil into your social diary our next event – the annual Quiz Night on 13th Feb 2009.

What a great night and good to see some old faces again – and I won a race too! Well done to Denise, Jo and Robbi for making sure things went smoothly and for the amount of money gathered in.
fantastic evening enjoyed every minute of it and spent a wee bit of money on horses and jockeys (well the wife did).
