THE Sons Supporters’ Society - the Supporters Trust – is a visionary and successful way for fans to participate in owning their club (Dumbarton FC), boldly putting the fans at the centre of everything it does.
It’s the embodiment of an ideal, the outcome of nearly a decade of endeavour to create a different sort of fan ownership, owned by fans dedicated to the success of Dumbarton Football Club.
All the Trust shareholders, who own the Society, are partners in this endeavour to have a greater say at Dumbarton Football Club where the Trust has invested time, effort and of course cash – a sum that should it be calculated would be over fifty thousand pounds - togethere with a growing shareholding of which currenty accounts for 32,000 shares.
Members pay £10 per year for membership of a Trust that puts its members first.
