SPORTSMANS DINNER
THE Trust organised Sportsmans Dinner is just over a week away and we are pleased to announce that the event is now SOLD OUT!
Dumbarton FC’s Director of Youth Development, David Muir, has been in touch on the subject of the Dinner, and has penned the following message.
“As director for Youth Development at DFC I have to write to thank the organisers, so far, for the forthcoming Sportsman’s Dinner.
“The commitment shown by the Supporters Trust is fantastic, and due to their endeavours the preparation has been faultless.
“Supporters, sponsors, players, managers, club officials, and guests will, I have no doubt, enjoy a memorable evening and, at the same time, raise funds for our youth development programme. This much needed investment will be put to good use in providing our future stars with improved facilities and equipment , qualified coaching and development under the guidance of Jim Chapman and further raise our profile within the local community.
“Our Trust have managed to secure three of the finest after dinner speakers on the circuit which has assisted their progress in making the night a sell out.
“Many local and national business’s are sponsoring tables, and we are grateful for their support.
“I personally am looking forward to Saturday 22nd March and once again thank all involved for their their time and efforts in preparing for what promises to be a fantastic occasion.”

Patrick Rolink is a very funny speaker and did a grand job at the Craig Brittain Testimonial Dinner. I’m sure this’ll be a great night.

All involved in the organising of the evening will ensure a good night,However I am sure the supporters both business and personal will make it a great evening. I for one am looking forward to it.Congratulations in advance to Mr Alan Findlay and the Sontrust.

This could be the ancient burgh of Dumbarton’s finest fandango of revelry since Akram’s ‘Two-Spot’ was razed to the ground - bring on the After Eights !!
